The early years

This gem from 1873 has witnessed its fair share of downtown businesses through the years.  The entrepreneurial spirit swept over the community not long after Hiram Chaffin and Samuel Brenneman completed construction.  The building houses 116, 120, 124, and 128 E Market St and has seen saloons, bakeries, furniture stores, attorney offices, funeral homes, banks, and various retail establishments set up shop.
