Not always in its present form

Before we had the building you see today, this little parcel in Orrville’s downtown served a very utilitarian purpose. For most of the early years in Orrville’s history this plot served as horse stables for Dr. Moncrief, two different livery companies- Rube Van Kirk and Joe Gillam Livery and later the Doll and Stansbury Livery.  Eventually a modern building was built and it served first as the John Schromen Second Hand Store, the Wiley Willaman Tavern and Grocery Store, and later a labor union meeting room.

One office remains in this recently rennovated downtown office building on the eastern edge of Orrville’s Main Street district.

Suite 150 is 176 square feet and rents for $195 per month.

Other tenants include a local newspaper office, an executive search firm, and an attorney.
